On Wednesday, November 2nd, the UITS department held the Engagement Activity Team fall event. The event consisted of a chili cook-off and a scavenger hunt.
For the scavenger hunt, UITS employees raced around campus to collect different clues. At each clue team members took selfies of their group to show that they had made it to the correct location. Team Valerie, which included Valerie Alexander-Spicer, Nile Saabir, Jona Turner, Zane Everitt, and Tony Harris, were the first one to collect all the clues and win first place! Congratulations Team Valerie!
The chili cook-off took place in the recreation center. There were ten different contestants who entered in their home cooked chili for the event. Abraham George, Vice President of Information Technology/CIO at Columbus State University, took home the first place win for the best chili! Second place went to Otto Land, and third place went to Ed Shevey. Congratulations Abraham, Otto, and Ed!
Team members who attended the event shared lots of laughs and camaraderie. Thank you to the E.A.T. team who organized the day!
